SPARTANBURG, SC, November 2002—Pro-Guard is Bindicator’s patented probe and circuit design used on the RF Series of capacitance type level switches. Pro-Guard prevents false indications by canceling out the effects of material coating on the probe due to sticky, dusty or clinging materials. An electrically active metal band generates a field of electricity that keeps the probe signal from shorting to ground through the coating. The RF Series level switch will alarm only when the actual bulk of material (either dry or liquid) comes in contact with the probe. Pro-Guard makes Bindicator’s RF Series the most reliable point level sensor for almost any application.
